SMI Air Force One Braking System Installation - 2015 Cadillac SRX- Video
Hey there Cadillac owners. Today on our 2015 Cadillac SRX, we're going to be installing SMI's Air Force One supplemental braking system.If you're thinking about flat towing your SRX, you need to keep in mind that there's five major components you're going to need in order to flat tow. You're going to need your tow bar, which is going to connect your motor home to your vehicle. You're going to need your base plate installed on your vehicle, which provides a connection point to your tow bar. You're going to need your braking system on your vehicle. It's going to help it stop when you stop on your motor home and you're going to need your wiring, which transfers all the lighting signals from your motor home back to the lights on your SRX. more

Today on our 2016 Cadillac SRX we will be installing the SMI Air force One supplemental braking system for motorhomes with air brakes. This is part number sm99243. This braking system is a truly proportional system. You don't have to worry about having to set it up every time you want to tow your motorhome. Just install it once, make your two connections for the air hose and the breakaway switch cable and that's it and you're ready to go. Provides even and smooth braking operation on your tow vehicle behind your RV. more

SMI Air Force One Braking System Installation - 2012 Cadillac SRX- Video
Today, on our 2012 Cadillac SRX, we'll be installing the SMI Air Force One Supplemental Braking System for Motor Homes with Air Brakes. This is part number SM99243. With our tow bar hooked up between the vehicles, let's make our electrical and our air hose connection on the RV. We'll do the same on the car. One final thing, you want to hook up your break away switch here to the safety chain loop on the hitch of your tow vehicle receiver. Now let's take it out for a quick drive and see how it looks while going down the road. Now that we have our fascia removed, let's go and find a suitable location for the break away switch and the air hose fitting. more

SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Braking System Installation - 2015 Cadillac SRX- Video
Today on our 2015 Cadillac SRX we're going to review and install the SMI Stay-IN-Play Duo supplemental proportional braking system, part number SM99251. Here's what our supplemental braking system's going to look like once it's installed. We've got the control unit mounted here at the kick panel, it's our on/off switch. Our connection for the monitor light, which will be displayed when the brake pedal is being depressed. Our actuator is attached to the brake pedal, the actuator pulls on the brake to activate the vehicles braking system. There's no need to add any additional braking parts. One of the other really nice features about this braking system is it's proportional, which means it will slow down in proportion to the towed vehicle. Let's go ahead and activate the actuator. more

Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System Installation - 2011 Cadillac SRX- Video
Today on our 2011 Cadillac SRX, we're going to install part number RM-8700. This is the Roadmaster Invisibrake supplemental braking system. The first step is to go ahead and give us some working room to install this part. We're going to work our way from the front to the back. So we'll go ahead and start removing parts necessary to get access to the floor board, so we have sheet metal to attach our parts to. We'll remove the driver's side threshold panels, and the panels at the driver's side backseat as well, with the panel removal tool. more
